Xbox one wont turn on

anyone help me I'm problem turning on my xbox one on when I try it beeps and the power block light flashes from white to orange three times then stays orange but won't turn on then I have to unplug it or it does nothing.

Hey mate,

Is you console plugged directly into the wall power outlet? And not into a surge proctector/double adaptor? Give that a try and see how it goes. To me it sounds like it might also be your power brick that is playing up, but it could also be the console

A flashing orange light signifies that the power block is malfunctioning, and may possibly need to be replaced. However, there are some troubleshooting steps to check if your power supply still works or not.

Hi thanks for your reply I have Tryed all of the trouble shooting with no luck I even purchased a new power block and that one does exactly the same thing.

Hey there PrecededToast12,

If replacing the power supply with another Genuine Microsoft branded power supply didn't help. The issue may be with the console and you can setup a console repair
here.

Hi there

Im still rocking my original xbox one.I have had this problem myself, turned out it was the plug i plugged it into just didn't like it.

Is the power supply got any light on it, orange or white?

I can suggest perhaps just plugging the power supply into a different plug to see if its receiving any power at all.

If its an adapter with multiple plugs, theres usually a little button at the top to reset the power.

check if the plugin your house works. something could have happened to cause the plugin not to work.

if you have plugs that is controlled by a switch make sure that is on to.
