    Xbox one wont turn on.


    it just wont power up ... press the button to turn it on it makes the noise then it goes straight back to orange ... tried unplugging it then trying again and nothing happens .... been trying an hour so I decided to get the receipt and try getting a replacement
    or money back ... 2 months I've had the xbox one and im not happy with the console .. it is full of faults everywhere across the dashboard .. party's messing up and disconnecting at awkward times , friends lists bugging up , achievements not unlocking properly
    and the annoying snap thing when trying to join party mid game.

    Hey mate,

    Is you console plugged directly into the wall power outlet? And not into a surge proctector/double adaptor? Give that a try and see how it goes. To me it sounds like it might also be your power brick that is playing up, but it could also be the console Xbox one wont turn on. :(

    Hi thanks for your reply I have Tryed all of the trouble shooting with no luck I even purchased a new power block and that one does exactly the same thing.

    Hi there

    Im still rocking my original xbox one.I have had this problem myself, turned out it was the plug i plugged it into just didn't like it.

    Is the power supply got any light on it, orange or white?

    I can suggest perhaps just plugging the power supply into a different plug to see if its receiving any power at all.

    If its an adapter with multiple plugs, theres usually a little button at the top to reset the power.

    check if the plugin your house works. something could have happened to cause the plugin not to work.

    if you have plugs that is controlled by a switch make sure that is on to.
