    XBOX ONE WONT TURN ON! power button lights up then shuts off.


    So Ive been having this issue for about a month now: I'll turn my xbox on, the light on the console will turn on but then it shuts right off. I was able to temporarily fix this by unplugging my xbox for an hour then plugging it into a different outlet. But
    as of right now this has stopped working, its been almost 3 days and my xbox still won't turn on. Any help would be much appreciated!

    FIXES IVE TRIED THAT DID NOT WORK:

    -Different power brick: I swapped power bricks with my friend, did not work. His xbox turned on with MY power brick though. (his xbox and power brick work just fine.)

    -Different outlet: this worked a few times but in the past 3 days ive plugged into two different power strips with nothing else plugged into them, and three different wall outlets. This did not fix the problem

    -Switch to Instant-on/energy saver: This problem occurs whether my xbox is set to instant-on or energy saver.

    Same here the Xbox one isnt booting up for me the power brick is amber then I press the on button the brick light turns white then the whole lot shuts off

    I need some help with turning my xbox one off

    Try fully powering down your Xbox One by pressing and holding your finger over the Xbox power button on the console until it shuts down.

    Wait for the power supply light to turn orange then turn it back on.

    Try your controller again, does it still bring up the snap programs or does it offer you the option to turn off your console?

    Also its not 4 red lights, Its one red light in the middle of the power on button. (Looks like an eye) It starts green then turns red and shuts off by it self with in seconds of hitting the start button too .

    Hello,

    The solution for the black screen loading issues is to shut down your xbox one completely. Either by unplugging your power cord for 30 seconds or by holding your finger on the power button til the xbox shuts off and the light on the power unit turns
    orange. No need to reinstall. Happy gaming!
