Xbox One won't turn on my Panasonic TV

Hi guys

I had a PS4 but sold it for my XBONE.

I connected my XBONE into the same HDMI port that the PS4 had. My PS4 used to turn on my TV fine.

However my XBONE won't turn on my TV. I've tried switching all the settings around but no luck. On the 'toggle' setting it says this will turn on my TV no matter what - but it doesn't work (although the red receiver lights on the TV do flicker, so it's
receiving something so to speak, but it won't turn on).

Anyone else had this? I suspect its something to do with Viera Link...

"xbox on" command does not work

Everything turns off correctly. But won't turn on to my command. Panasonic TV, Yamaha Receiver, Comcast

HDMI CEC to Samsung Tv issue

I had an old Panasonic plasma Tv when i turn on my xbox the Tv turn on and the input is bring to Xbox if not. But Now i get my new samsung UN50KU (support CEC). The Tv turn on but the input dosent change to the right one ! Xbox hdmi-CEC function look bad.
May i have an update to resolve this issue.

My Panasonic does the same thing. Every once in a while it does turn but it seems like the standby signal is not being sent for long enough for the TV to register it. TV always turns off and volume control and mute also work.

You probably don't have ghosts lol but your soundbar must have an IR sensor ?

I have the same problem with my Panasonic TV - sometimes the xbox fails to turn it off and has never been able to turn it on because MS didn't program a long enough 'turn on' IR burst for many models of Panasonic TVs.

I'm pretty sure as with my Panasonic, to switch the tv on you need to HOLD down the a button for about 2 secs, because of this I don't think the Xbox one knows to send a continuous signal long enough to turn the tv on

My wife's console does this (Samsung TV) but it doesn't do it on my console and Panasonic TV and it is for the reason Jaymo1978 mentions, some TV's use the same command from the remote to turn the TV on and off. So when the Xbox One powers up, it sends the
command and turns your TV off if it was already on.

You can do as Jamo mentiones and disable the option altogether or you'll need to remember to use your TV remote to turn your TV off before you turn your console on.

I too experience this issue. TV works for a second, then cuts to lost TV signal, however the TV audio continues functioning throughout. My TV picture recovers when turning off Xbox One and turning back on. Unfortunate glitch. Posting issue to raise awareness
for MS to implement corrective action.
