Xbox One won't take any disks!!!

My xbox one has not been able to take disks for some time now... You know how when you put a disk in the drive just a little bit and it grabs the disk and reads? Mine won't do it! It's like the sensor messaged up or somethin. Any help please?

Xbox One Won't Accept Disk. Any Help?

Whenever I try to insert the disk into the xbox, it takes it in but the disk gets stuck halfway. If I push it in, the disk does go in but it makes loud cranky noises. And when I try to eject it, it gets out halfway then I have to pull it out. I've looked
online, I tried everything. I power cycled the xbox and reconnected it after disconnecting it. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Sorry you're having problems with your console not reading discs. Does it take discs if you put them in more, or nothing. Is there a disc stuck in there already? If no to both of these try unplugging the device, and plugging it back in. If that doesn't work
and you cannot get it to work at all, I suspect this would be a hardware issue and your console needs to be repaired. See the link below to submit a repair request. Now I normally don't jump right into do a factory reset (and I don't think it's the fix), but
since you may need to send it in anyways it for sure won't hurt before hand.

If I put the disk in further it just sits there. There are no other disks in the drive. I'll try a factory reset and make a request to get it repaired. Thanks!

P.s. - Would I still be able to get my console repaired if it is not under warranty anymore?

If it's our of warranty there is a fee. The exact number I don't remember, but it's around 100.00. Much cheaper than the full price though. Also if you do that, you may want to look at Complete Care. I honestly don't know if it's offered after a repair,
but if so I would do it

i don't know if you ever got it working but what works for me is the tilt method. Just tilt the front of the X1 up to about a 45 degree angle and then put in the disc. Works every time for me.
