    Xbox one won't sync with controllers why?


    hi all of a sudden my grandsons Xbox one won't sync with controllers does anyone know why and how can this be rectified.weve tried new battery's and resetting the Xbox there's no loose wires and it's not the remotes cause just went and bought 2 new ones.Thanks

    Xbox controller won't sync

    My Xbox controllers won't sync up with my xbox. We have tried everything and I mean everything to get it to work and nothing is working, they just won't sync.

    One XBOX 360 Controller won't sync

    We have 2 XBOX 360 controllers. One will sync with no problem. The other one, which is the original one for the XBOX 360 won't. He took it to a friends house and it worked there, but ever since it will not sync. All of the info I find online is about problems
    with the console, what can I check on the controller?

    Controller wireless sync issues

    I have 2 battery packs both charged and also tried with regular batteries, the xbox itself won't let me sync? It's not the controllers I'm certain of that, why isn't my xbox trying to sync when I press the sync button?

    I need a way to successfully unsync my Xbox controller from my console, so I can again use it on my laptop via bluetooth.

    For now, why not just turn off the Xbox at the wall, then sync your controller to your PC, then turn the Xbox back on at the wall. That way you wont turn the Xbox One on when syncing the controller to the PC.

    I don't think it can be fixed with an update.

    When you plug an Xbox One controller into an Xbox, the console also automatically syncs the controller to the console's own proprietary wireless receiver, which incidentally doesn't use Bluetooth. When you plug the controller into a PC it looks for this
    propitiatory wireless signal to sync to but doesn't find it and therefore because of this search it is no longer synced to the console.

    There is no way to disable this automatic sync process as it's by design. A feature to make connecting to a PC using the official receiver easier. I'm pretty sure if you buy the official Xbox One wireless receiver for Windows, the controller should automatically
    sync to this when you insert the micro USB cable from the PC to the controller and therefore you won't need to keep pressing the bind buttons, but I'm afraid syncing is something that you will have to keep doing, one way or another unless you buy a second
    controller.

    Hi,

    The Xbox 360 wireless protocol is not Bluetooth. This is why your 360 controller won't sync to your wireless receiver. PlayStation Dual Shock uses BT, the 360 does not. Only the Xbox One X controller can be connected via Bluetooth.

    If you want to use a wireless 360 controller you will need to buy the Xbox 360 wireless gaming receiver. Don't buy the Xbox One receiver as it does not support 360 controllers either.
