Xbox One won't switch on.

Hi guys.

So I just woke up to switch on my Xbox One, and it makes a faint Power-On beep but doesn't switch on.

The power brick seems to be okay. has a solid amber light.

help a brother out.

Can you first check that the power cord is securely attached to the power brick and your electrical outlet?

If so, can you try another electrical outlet?

This will remove any doubts about a problem with the electrical outlet

Have you checked that it is connected properly into the console.

Also ensure that there is enough space around the console to prevent the vents being blocked.

You can try to reset the power brick by disconnecting it for 10 seconds and reconnecting it.

If you still have an amber light on the Xbox power brick, it means that the power brick has to be changed.

In this case, you will need to approach the Xbox support to request a change of the power brick.

i have done this... still no positive results.
