Xbox One won't stop chirping!! (Video)

My Xbox One has been chirping up a storm for quite some time. I even sent it off to Texas recently and they sent it back to me with a note that said that they couldn't find anything wrong with it. Any help would be appreciated
because this is driving me bananas!!!

Getting Really Frustrated!!!!

Since April I've sent my Xbox One in three friggin' times because the fan wouldn't stop squeaking. I got it back this week and now it's chirping again!!! I'm getting really tired of this shenanigan. The Xbox One works it's just the fan is chirping and driving
me absolutely crazy!!!

Here's a general idea of what it's doing:

Yeah, it sounds like a fan issue. I guess it depends whether the person who tested it feels that it's within spec - and obviously in your case they did. There is no way to fix it other than getting the console repaired/replaced, so I don't really know what
to suggest other than phoning support again and telling them you're not satisfied.

If you're in the UK, you could get the retailer to replace the entire package.

 

I would take it back to your retailer first mate see what they can do.

Than fill out repair on xbox site and send it in

 

Mine does the same thing, at times it is a lot louder then others. Almost sounds like a hard drive seeking.

I'm sorry to hear about the noise issues. Just to make sure that we have not missed any troubleshooting steps I would like to recommend a few steps if you have not tried them already.

Please give the following steps a shot:

• Make sure that your console is on a stable surface, placed horizontally.
• Turn off your console by holding the power button on the front of the console for 10 seconds.
  
• Once your console is off, unplug the power cord.
• Leave your console unplugged for 5 minutes and plug in your console.
• Power on you console.

If the issue continues to occur let us know and we will be standing by to help.

 

My Xbox One also won't stop chirping! I've followed the suggestions and it still continues to chirp, it is very annoying.

I am considering requesting a repair and try to get it fixed that way, has anyone fixed the chirping issue?

 

Hey Quimby, tried it out. But did not fix it. The system seems fine no hardware issues, just gets annoying.
