    Xbox one won't start


    hi i have an xbox one. when i turn it on the light comes on on the console so i know that works but nothing comes up on the tv. i know i am on the right channel and all the plugs are definitely plugged in but still nothing comes up. earlier when it worked
    the game froze so i turned it off from the console but now nothing happens on the TV when i try to turn it on. Something is wrong with the xbox as it restarted but was really slow then froze again but not it doesnt even come up with anything. any suggestions?

    XBox One won't start.

    That didn't work. I followed the steps to make an update on a USB flash-drive but I just get an error message and get an option to return to the troubleshoot screen. Tried several times with the same result. What else is there to do?

    Xbox one won't start

    try a hard reset, hold the power button on the xbox until it shuts down, then unplug it an leave it for 5-10 minutes to see if that sorts it, other than that i would say a phone call to xbox support is in order

    Can you please try and carry out an offline update to your console to see if that will help get you back up and running as guided below.

    Hey Fabian,

    I'm sorry to hear about this issue being experienced with the Xbox having a black screen.

    If the power cycle did not solve the issue, I suggest looking over our guide for

    Troubleshooting a blank TV screen or monitor while your Xbox One is on    . Make sure to go over the entire article. If none of the solutions can get the Xbox to display a picture, then the console may need to be serviced.

    are you plugged direct to the main wall outlet or via extension? if via extension or surge protector its possible your Xbox isn't getting the full required amount of power needed so i would then advise to try with it powered from the main wall outlet.
