    I hope this post helps anyone running into the same issue I had.

    Last Thursday my Xbox One wouldn't power on. I followed all the steps Xbox Support outlines here.

    Xbox One Won’t Turn On | No Power | Xbox One X, Xbox One S & Original Xbox One

    No matter what I did the LED power indicator light on the power supply wouldn't come on and the console wouldn't boot. I assumed as the support document suggests the power supply was dead. So I ordered a new one.

    When I got the new one I plugged it in and again the LED power indicator light would not come on.

    So I switched out the the new power supply with the old one. Still no LED light on the power supply. I unplugged my external USB drive. As soon as I did the light on the power supply came on and my console booted up to an "Update request" screen. I'm assuming
    the update was partly to blame for the console not booting. I updated my console and plugged my USB drive back in and everything is working fine.

    TLDR; Console won't boot try unplugging your external USB drive before replacing your power supply.

    You have to buy an Xbox One S in order to resolve the issue.

    Cloud storage not working...again.

    It is working for me. I suggest you call xbox support to get your issue resolved. I always call them whenever I have trouble with my xbox live and they are really helpful. Logging and out then log in back usually resolves your issue.
