    Xbox one won't sign in


    When I go to sign in on my xbox, the black box pops up with 'add new' and so on but no accounts show up and then it just crashes straight to the dashboard also when I say any commands to my kinect they pop up on for a second and then it also crashed, any
    help please ?

    Xbox Live wont let me sign in

    Xbox one won't let me sign in at all on any profiles at all and it doesn't pop up any errors and when I click on my account to sign in it won't do anything it just goes back to the home and won't sign in.

    Xbox one won't sign in

    Hold power button for 8-10 seconds (this will power the unit down). Wait 30 seconds, turn back on (Green screen will come up & will take some time staying up as its resetting). This is a soft reset and clears up allot of issues for many. Good Luck.

    This should fix your issue... Hard reset ... Hold the power button for 10 seconds and let it power off. Once power is off, disconnect it from the power outlet or unplug from the back of the console for 30 seconds. Plug it back in and wait 30 seconds then
    press the power button. Give it time to boot up about 2 minutes. See if this corrects the issues, if not, you may need to get it repaired.

    Terminology,,

    Soft Reset = Powering down the unit to reset

    Hard Reset = is the restoration of a device to the state it was in when it left the factory.

    Most are getting these terms confused and its important to understand the differences.

    I have just bought an xbox one and have spent the last 2 hours trying to sign in!!! Every time it gets to the add account stage it just rejects my email. I have done a factory restore...even though its brand new.. it gets to the 'what email do you want'
    and sits there telling me to enter one.. I have put it in 20 times at least..please help thanks

    xbox.com/status shows issues with sign in services on xbox one.

    Problem is that it won't even sign in locally so i'm unable to play offline!! :(

    Have you tried signing in to a different account?

    For us to isolate the issue, please try to sign in on account.microsoft.com and account.xbox.com to see if it works.
