Xbox One won't save games

Hi!

Recently I have been playing Dark Souls 3 and Resident Evil 7 but have had problems with saving on both.

I can't save Resident Evil at all and on Dark souls only some progress is saved. I quit and save properly on both games

but this is still what happens every time.

I have received some warning messages on Dark Souls that the game wasn't

quit properly (even though I have) and that there's been a saving problem. Whenever I've been guided to fix the problem

the xbox wants me to restart the console and delete all data.

Is there any other way to fix this? Is anyone else having the same problem?

Lego Worlds Xbox One - could not save data

Lego Worlds on XBox One won't save - "could not create save data"

I have already reset my Xbox, and it worked fine for a few goes, then won't save again. Game now unplayable.

Xbox 360 to Xbox One saves transfer

XBox One isn't backwards compatible with XBox 360 games, hence you won't be able to transfer 360 saves to the One.

Try doing a full power cycle, this can solve a wide variety of issues with xbox.

It is possible to save gameplay on both Xbox 360 and Xbox One without Internet access. The only thing that won't happen is your game saves won't be backed up to the Xbox Cloud (on Xbox One) and you can't use the Xbox 360 cloud-saved game storage.

On Xbox One, you will need to make sure your console is set to offline only mode, so it won't try to copy your game save to the cloud. However, there may be some titles that require an online save. Does someone know if NBA 2K18 is one of those games?

All of your account info is saved on the Xbox servers. So you won't need to back those up. The cloud will only hold game saves, so you can save them there if you ever plan on using a 360 again, but they won't work on the One.

Resetting your Xbox One settings won't affect your game saves, as they're saved in the cloud and can be downloaded at any time
