Xbox One won't run anything.

So i have a handful of issues and I'm not sure what else i can do to fix them. My xbox won't read disks. When i put a disk into the console it asks if i own the game or app. Which, yes i do, it's in the xbox. It also makes a grinding sound a lot of the time
when i put the disk in, so that seems more like a hardware issue than a software issue. But then when i attempt to start games that i have downloaded, and play with no disk, it simply stops at the game starting screen, and then tells me the game took too long
to start. I talked to someone yesterday in a chat and he told me to clear my persistent data on my disks, and that didn't work. Then to add on to that i decided to try and restore the xbox to its factory defaults, but i am unable to move my data to an external
drive because the xbox isn't working properly. Everytime i simply want to play a game, i have to hold the power button down for 10 seconds, and then wait sometimes 5 or 10 minutes for the xbox to start back up again, and then the game still doesn't work half
the time. It almost seems like the xbox has a virus or something, which doesn't make sense to me cause i don't even brows the internet on it. I just play games. Is this something that is fixable, should i send it in for repair? I'm kinda stuck on this one

Xbox One Won't Load Anything

My Xbox One Will Not Open Any Apps Games Or Even Settings
Two days ago when I attempted

to play my Xbox One, I was unable to open any games. Then while testing the issue i realized I could not open any apps settings or even help. Im at a complete loss. Ive attempted a cold reset but ive tried at least ten times with the same outcome. Does anyone
have an idea what happened to it? Is it just done for then?

my Xbox won't load any of my games, apps, or my profile. When I go to look at my downloaded games, it'll just load indefinitely. When I go select a game on the homepage it'll try to start it but it'll just say that the game took too long loading. I tried
do a hard restart multiple times and I even unhooked everything from the Xbox but still won't work

Sorry to hear that your console is having issues. It sounds like you should try to send it in for repair. The problem should be diagnosed and fixed if and when you do send your console in to be serviced.

The "grinding noise " would require a repair , but your profile may be corrupted and causing some of the other issues , you can try this and see if it helps ....

....go into settings and remove all the profiles , (make sure you have the email and password to get them back ) after you remove the profiles , shut the xbox down by holding the xbox logo on the console for 8 seconds till it powers down , while it is off
, unplug your modem and router for 30 seconds to clear them also , plug the modem and router back up and when they are online , turn the xbox back on , when it is all the way up . re add your main profile ...it may sit there and sync a little while but all
