Xbox One wont respond to right controller stick movement (confirmed control is working ...

I was playing Battlefield 4 and walked away from my Xbox One with my controller in my hand so it was out of the range of the Xbox One. When I returned in range the Right stick movement is not being detected by the Xbox One.

• What exactly is happening with your controller?
  • No movements on the Right stick are detected by the Xbox One.
• Does it happen during a specific activity?
  • Will not respond during all games and home screen navigation. Only place it will respond is the screen right after I try to update the control firmware and it is asking me to exit or update another controller.
    
• What have you tried so far?
  
  • • Power off and on Xbox and the controller
    • Remove the power cord from back of the Xbox
    • Remove batteries from controller.
    • Plugged in USB, with and without batteries in controller.
    • Checked for controller firmware update. Wasn't one.
    • Plugged controller into my laptop and installed the drivers to confirm that the control was functioning. Using the joy.cpl command to calibrate the control, all movements pass. Right stick functions correctly.
      
    • Did a Xbox system update.

Xbox One controller can't recalibrate stick with joy.cpl

Hello,

I bought a Xbox One controller 2 weeks ago.

I'm using it on a Windows 10 Computer.

It was working fine until yesterday.

My controller buttons works except for the sticks.

I tried to calibrate my controller with joy.cpl but when I test out the left stick it goes always in the bottom right corner.

I tried to reset the controller with Microsoft Accessories App but it didn't work.

Do anyone got a fix for this?

sure its been asked before, cant use xbox 360 controller on PC

i got the newest driver that i know of, and it detects it when i use joy.cpl but it wont recognize it out of there, like i cant use it 2 control my PC

any ideas?

 

I did a Factory Restore and it worked at the option to pick my time zone but no where else.

 

I bought a brand new controller and it paired fine but the Xbox one is still not responding to the right analog stick of the new controller.

 

Tried OSUDT2 restore and that didn't fix the issue.

 

This was after the September update?
