I can't seem to get unit to reset

I have taken to two different places for repair both have told me unit needs to be sent to factory for repair

I tried to do the reset, keeping games & apps but I got "something went wrong" and E102 00000C01 80070079.

Now what?

I clicked troubleshoot then restore factory defaults and then it said "something went wrong" and is back at the restart or troubleshoot screen

Error Code: E102 00000C01 8007045D

I did that and the Same code showed up E102 00000C01 8007045D

I highly recommend the offline System Update with a hard reset before and after option that was referenced by my colleague.

Also prior to any effort make sure your network connection is good especially the DNS (use Google 8.8.8.8 & backup 8.8.4.4 instead of your ISP's).

Doesn't work on mine either. The update fails 1/2 though it seems when the xbox updates.

Error code has now changed to e100
