Xbox one won't read specific disc.

My xbox one won't read Modern Warfare 3, it read it fine last night but won't work since this morning. Every other game reads fine and I've tried replacing the game but I've seen no change. Please help.

You said you've tried replacing the game, do you mean you have tried another copy of Modern Warfare 3 and are having the same issue with that disc as well?

If it's just that one disc that isn't working properly, then it might be worth trying to clean the disc. There might be a bit of debris or it might be scratched.

The disc is clean. I replaced the disc by getting a new version of the game and it still won't read that specific game.

 

Have you tried a power cycle of your console by holding the power button for 10sec?

Sorry to hear that you're dealing with this issue. If this is happening to you consistently, then I would suggest maybe going into your Settings>Disc & Blu Ray>Clearing Persistent Storage and then power cycling your console following the steps here on

How to restart or power cycle your Xbox One console.

If that does not work, then the next this that I would suggest is maybe trying a soft reset of your console.
It's a reset of your console back to factory settings but one that does not uninstall any of your games or apps and is a really good troubleshooting step for most issues.

Just make sure that before you go ahead with it, that you do know all of the sign-in information for any/all of your accounts(asthey
will be removed) and have easy access to your internet network. Also
make sure that you select the option denoted reset and keep my games and apps.
