    Xbox One won't read games


    When I enter a disk into my Xbox one, it shows up on the "play disc" icon in the bottom right corner as usual. However, when I try to play it, it'll show me the intro screen for a second or two and will revert me back to the home screen. This happens for
    all the games I own. I've tried turning the console off and on, but that's about it. Please help!

    had it nearly 3 years it's been fine but lately it won't read discs

    You can try the steps here
    https://support.xbox.com/en-GB/xbox-one/console/disc-error     but it sounds like your disc drive is borked.

    Had this myself,the disc drives are not the best quality,especially in the earlier xbox ones.

    You could send it of for repair but that would cost over £100 as it's out of warranty & in my experience it will only break again after a few months as the repair centre can't seem to fix things properly.

    I would just buy a new console as it wouldn't cost much more than a repair or stick to digital content.

    Are you in the preview program? I believe this issue might be being patched soon
