    I had an Xbox One Elite system that I purchased on release day back in November. A few days ago i powered up my xbox and put a game disc in. when i went to launch the game the system told me to "insert disc". I took the disc out and put back in several
    times and same result. I then powered the xbox off completely (i do not use auto-on feature) and unplugged the system for a few minutes and plugged back in. When the system came up I put a disc in and the system was able to read the disc and the game started.
    Then, as a test, I powered the system down and back on again (without unplugging) and this time once again it would not read my game disc. I tried several different games with the same result. After powering the system down and unplugging again it started
    to read discs once more. I figured there was something wrong with the system so i exchanged the system for a brand new Xbox One Elite (i got the Gamestop 2 year warranty) and to my dismay the brand new system has the same issue. This tells me it is likely
    an issue with the March 2016 system update as these issues first happened after installing that update. anyone else have the same issues? thanks

    My Xbox One has also been having issues with reading discs. Ever since the march update, any time I switch discs I get error code (0x21) saying that my disc is dirty or damaged. The only way I am able to get the system to read the disc is to do a hard reset,
    which includes unplugging the system. On top of that, anytime I switch discs I have to do the same reset, and I am unable to even play the same game after turning the console off via its regular sleep mode.

    Xbox Live CLAIMS they have fixed sign-in problems, but that's not true.

    OK -- I read the ENTIRE status message and cold rebooted my Xbox One by powering it down and unplugging it for 10 (really 22) seconds. Now I can get on. Thanks.

    Dang.........I'm thinking it's an issue with one of the last system updates. Seems like it isn't hardware if replacing the console doesn't fix it.
