Xbox one wont read disc

Discus and support Xbox one wont read disc in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I've been trying for 30 minutes to get my Xbox to read discs I've tried the whole tilt thing and absolutely nothing is working.     Xbox one wont read disc


    I've been trying for 30 minutes to get my Xbox to read discs I've tried the whole tilt thing and absolutely nothing is working. What else can I do?

    Listen to this man! I had this issue with several of my games and it instantly got fixed after I installed them. It is very easy to do and does not take very long.

    The said it can sometimes read the disc. If that's the case, then installing it to the HD when the system can read the disc may be a fix for the issue. Albeit not a permanent fix,especially if 80% of the games won't read at all. Ultimately it sounds like they will have to 1. replace the HD, 2. send the system into Microsoft for service if still under warranty, or 3. look into getting a new Xbox.

    Physical vs. digital copies. Does it make a difference?

    I perfer digital copies, mostly because my xbox one wont read discs right now.

    by what mean did you replace the drive?

    if i'm not mistaken the xbox is hard coded to only accept the drive it was build with and will not work even if you take a drive from a similar xbox

    besides, now you wont have problems with a disc being scratch by your console ;)

    and the disc will play smoother cause it wont read a disc, it will read your HDD
