Xbox One won't play ANY games (download or disc)

I've had my Xbox One since March and its always worked. Now it won't play any games , download or disc. It just hangs at the beginning of all the games. I've tried to erase mt profile and redownload it but that doesn't work. I'm signed in automatically so
I'm not what is going on here. I also have a 360 that signs in but plays all games with no problems. It's been like this for a week. I'm not happy and i'm about to sell this brick if I can't access any of these games I BOUGHT!

Black ops 1 backwards compatibility problems

My Xbox one won't let me download the game from my disc and it wont let me see black ops 1 in the game store. Any help?

Sorry to hear it. Please try the following steps:

1. Go to Settings

2. Select Disc & Blu Ray

3. Uncheck Enable BD Live

4. Click on Persistent Storage

5. Clear Persistent Storage 3 times

6. Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down

7. Unplug everything from the console and let it sit for 5 minutes.

If that doesn't solve the issue you may need to send the console in for a repair.

The disc still is reading when you're playing the game, even if it's installed on your system (requirement on Xbox One). When you start downloading/installing a game, it won't download when the console is off. This was the SAME on the Xbox 360; you had to
have your Xbox on to download any games. Don't worry about the wear and tear, it running like that won't hurt the Xbox, they are made for that.

To download a Play Anywhere title on PC, you must own the digital download version of the game. Disc games do not qualify. If you have the game on disc for Xbox One you won't be able to download it for free on your laptop.

Is this just the one game that won't play, or all Xbox 360 discs?

Is your Xbox connected to Live to download the latest system updates? If it's a brand new game you're trying to play, it might be that you don't have the update to allow the Xbox to read the new disc format.

Any other info you can give would help us to figure out the issue.

No sorry, the disc version's are not linked, you can't claim a free digital only download of a game because you own the game on disc on the 360. If you intend to play these games on an Xbox One, you won't need to buy them again, just insert them in the
drive and the game will be downloaded to Xbox One console. You will only need the disc to verify ownership. This applies to all Xbox 360 BC games on Xbox One.

But I've been playing for months with no disc in the system once they downloaded on the Xbox x I haven't put nomore disk in the game system now it won't play with out one
