XBOX ONE WON'T OPEN ANY GAMES OR APPS

Hello, this has been happening the past few days, my xbox one will turn on just fine and I can redeem codes and surf through the store just fine but it won't let me launch any games or apps. Help please

Games & Apps won't open

Hi so my xbox one has been having trouble turning on. It takes about 10-15 minutes to start and even then the dashboard isn't completely loaded in. The system will not let me make any actions with the controller but instead after an additional 5-10 minutes
it attempts to open the Games & Apps application and ultimately fails. when I try to show help, the help app also fails to open, and then I get a frozen black screen. This has been going on for at least 2 weeks now.

XBox One settings won't open

Hi! As mentioned, a power cycle/hard reset is different from a normal restart. See this link for more info: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/console/power-cycle-console

If the hard reset still doesn't work, do a factory reset with keeping your games and apps (so that you don't have to install them again):

Might be a profile problem , try this and see if it helps ...go into settings and remove all the profiles , (make sure you have the email and password to get them back ) after you remove the profiles , shut the xbox down by holding the xbox logo on the
console for 8 seconds till it powers down , while it is off , unplug your modem and router for 30 seconds to clear them also , plug the modem and router back up and when they are online , turn the xbox back on , when it is all the way up . re add your main
profile ...it may sit there and sync a little while but all SHOULD be good afterwards ...

There should not be a need to delete the profiles as this sounds like a simple cache issue. Just power cycle the console as listed above (modem is optional) and that should fix it.

The first to try when any of your apps/games not get launched should be to completely quite the app/game by pressing the menu button while selecting the app/game tile, and if that doesn't work power cycle should fix it.

Try uninstalling the app, Then clearing local saved games and the MAC address before installing again.

ALSO, since a hard reset *temporarily* fixes the problem, switching to power saver mode will prevent the issue from happening when you boot up. Of course, that sacrifices a little bit of functionality... but for those of you who would just like to play
your games and not worry about this crap, power-saver mode may work for you.

Anytime I start a game like VRchat it's says there is an unexpected error that the game is open and when I try to play any thing on the Xbox app it won't load at times and other times it well load so slow that it won't open at all
