    Xbox One Won't Load Past Green Screen


    Came home from work today and turned on my Xbox One, which turns on my TV as well. The TV never came on so I had to turn it on manually. The Xbox took over five minutes to go to a black screen and another five to go from black to green. It never moves
    past the green screen that says Xbox. I have tried all the troubleshooting listed on the internet and the forums regarding the USB drive and the updates or factory reset. No matter what I do the console never gives me a second beep. I am pretty irritated
    at the moment so any help would be appreciated. There is no reason the Xbox shouldn't be working. ITs off all day until I get home from work. Is there some trick that I am missing to holding the bind, eject and power button. I have tried all combinations
    and gotten no where. The USB drive is formatted to NTFS and the only file stored is the one I unzipped to do the factory reset.

    Did you update to the NXOE via the preview program? These updates bricked many consoles, mine included.

    Hey Princess Shadow,

    Could i just confirm if you are in the preview program or not?

    I'd reccomend turning it off, then unplugging the power brick from your console, and the powerpoint (so the power brick is completly disconnected) then leaving it for a couple of minutes. Then try it again. Let me know if that works Xbox One Won't Load Past Green Screen :)

    there Cleon,

    Thanks for the reply! I recommend trying a
    power cycle
     (disconnect and re-connect power) of the console.

    If the problem persists, try doing a
    soft factory reset of the console,
    Reset and keep games and apps to help reset the operating system. Please note before doing this troubleshooting step, make sure to know your email and passwords for your Xbox profiles.

    Try this out and let us know the results.
