Xbox one won't load anything when connected to live

I have the digital version, the game won't load without an Internet connection when I turn on my Xbox one but if I turn on the Xbox one with an Internet connection it loads and if I unplug the Internet from the Xbox one after I'm signed into Xbox live it
also loads, I tried redownloading but it's the same result, all my other games work offline and there's nothing on the devs official sites or anywhere on the internet about this game needing Internet to play, and there is no message when the game won't load
telling me I must have an Internet connection or connect to Xbox live, I hope this issue will be patched

Not that it has to do with xbox live, but I'm a FiOS user in California, and I can't access certain websites that have to do with WLID logins, or even parts of this one without using proxies. It's also noteworthy that attempting to load those pages that
I suddenly can not, it seems like my internet is incapable of doing anything else. After the pages fail to load, my internet quality is restored.

A friend on Xbox live tested DOOM, he has disc I have digital version, he got the same result. The developers must fix this. Nowhere has it been stated a connection to Xbox live is needed on console start up to play DOOM's campaign. Microsoft has no record
of that either and when DOOM doesn't load when a connection to Xbox live is not made on console start up, there is no message or error status, it freezes on a black screen right before Bethesda's dev logo is supposed to appear.

I don't buy games that require Internet or connection to Xbox live to play, to me it's not full ownership because I can't play under all circumstances. Bethesda and or Id must patch this CRAP.

It's an obvious program glitch because any time after connection to Xbox live is made after initial Xbox one start up from being turned off, DOOM will load even if the game is closed out entirely (quit) and the Internet connection is removed from the Xbox
one because the game had the initial connection to Xbox live but if the Xbox one is turned off and back on again with no internet to connect to Xbox live DOOM won't load.

This is as I said a glitch the developers MUST patch. DOOM is primarily a campaign based game with no coop campaign or anything else that connection on Xbox one start up would be necessary to load DOOM. As I stated, after the Xbox one is turned on and a
connection is made once to Xbox live, the Internet can be removed and DOOM will load every time until the Xbox one is turned off again. After the Xbox one is turned off, another connection to Xbox live is needed or DOOM won't load

It's like a " CHECK IN " and we don't need that CRAP! Those ridiculous policies were abolished for a REASON!

The developers Bethesda and Id better patch this FAST. What about the people who don't have Internet and can't connect to Xbox live and bought doom? They must think their disc is defective which is NOT the case.

Escalate this to the right people who will get on the developers and inform them to FIX this right away!

When the main menu loads up it constantly says connect to Xbox live so the store and other online viewable content is never accessible and when I connect it doesn't change anything

Hi, before someone jumps in and tells you to create your own thread give this a try.

Power the Xbox off, then press and hold the bind button and disc eject button on the Xbox, keep those two buttons held and press the power button on the Xbox once only. Shortly you should get a troubleshooting screen open up, you can then let go of those
two buttons.

From the troubleshooter select the reset console option and the option to keep games & apps.

Be sure you know your account login details as you will need to add your account back to the Xbox after the reset. Your games and apps will not be removed, game save data will be removed only from the Xbox and will sync back from cloud the next time you
launch a game.
