Xbox One won't load ANYTHING. Literally. (dashboard and games included)

So, i launch up my xbox one. Which i used a couple of hours ago, I try to start up a game, it goes into the typical "load screen" for games but never actually loads. i try to close the game, but of course cannot. Next i restart the console and this time,
Not only does my account sign in but anytime i try to open something such as friends, settings, xbox store or pretty much literally anything, They never load and gives me an error that ____ took too long to load. Anyone know what the hell is going on?

My xbox won't load anything. Literally.

So i go to turn on my xbox right, just like normal. Except for this time it stays at the green screen for longer than usual. So of course i hard reset it and and see if that works. But no, those time the loading screen with the three dots is there and it's
taking 2-3 mins load. Once im at the dashboard there is nothing loading. LITERALLY. I can't play my games or swipe over to see my friends list or settings. Occasionally it show up with ___ took too long to load error. What do i do, i've tried everything from
hard reset to cold reset. Please help

let's see if this clears things up. when i turn on my xbox it won't load to my gt or anything. i guess you would say the dashboard won't load up

 

Update. Hard reset seemed to have fixed this.

 

i haven't been able to play my game for almost a month. Netflix recently but that is it. Its very frustrating

 

I'm having the same problem every since this latest update it's like my system is no good anymore

is Microsoft working on this? I jsut bought a brand new One S and if my console is USELESS now, literally exactly 30 days after i bought it I'm going to be violently angry. I just bought this for my daughter as a birthday present, she's a huge gamer and
this is a brand new console.

 

i'm having the exact same issue since yesterday's Xbox Insider program update. Even a hard shut-off won't solve it. None of my games are working literally. Can a dev look into it please and get back to me. I have reported this issue through the Xbox Insider
Program Report several times but still no luck.

 

having same problem. did hard reset and still can't play anything or load apps. laggy response time on buttons pressed versus action completed and very infuriating. I am in alpha program and insider program so hoping a patch fixes this but was working fine
until this morning.

 

Seems like it's not just me then. I downloaded the preview update at about 2pm (4 hours ago) and since doing so, nothing has been loading. Games take "too long" and apps just give me a permanent loading screen. It's irritating as I have exams coming up,
and Xbox allows me to relax in what little time I have to myself.

 

My X-Box One is having the same exact problem. Hard shutdown won't work, tried unplugging, nothing is working. I can't even load the home screen. This really ticks me off. I have been on a trip for the past five days so there is no way I could have broken
the X-Box in any way. There has to be an explanation and I would appreciate a solution as soon as possible, for I am very VERY mad at this even being a problem...

 

Best guess, HDD is on it's way out or has already stopped working.

 

Same here. It is so slow and won't load anything. All games/apps take "too long to start for some reason". Takes like 10 minutes to start up the console.
