    Hello, My Xbox one is not opening Gta V, as I open it the game starts and shows the start picture. (The three guys, don't know there names, I play online) and then just goes back to the dashboard also known as home.

    The game disc does not have any sort of scratch in the back, I tried the toothpaste thing anyway Incase with no luck. I heard how it could be that the ram needs to reload so I put the Xbox on power saver mode and hard reset it, no luck. And I hard powered
    off and held the power button and disk tray button restarting lots of my setting, I removed and added my account back and uninstalled and reinstalled the game.

    Nothing is working and I don't know what to do.

    The only thing that is weird is that the back of the cd has a weird reflection pattern.

    Also my 3 year old brother put a PS3 disk in and I only relised 3 days later, if any one knows how to fix it please help.

    Wow, I just had this same issue with my Xbox one. It won't read a disk anymore. Keeps telling me to put in a disk that works. Every game disk and DVD I try gets nothing but load buzzing. Right now I'm not very happy to have gone with Microsoft on day one...a
    failure on Christmas sucks even more!

    My Xbox has stopped playing the disks

    Hi There. Please help. My sons Xbox has stopped playing disks. It just does not register them. When we put the disk in to load it pops up with "if you have this disk, please load it now" "Or restart app". Sometimes it works if I leave the disk in the
    xbox, power down completely and then power up again with the disk in, ONLY then does it sometimes register the disk inside, but not always. Can anybody help me with a solution to this?

    I fixed after every going I did above, I factory reset the Xbox1 and kept games and apps! I hope this helps someone.

    Xbox One Mandatory Update...should we be worried ?

    The xbox one will still play disk based games without the update. It just won't do much else.

    BF4 won't play period. Same with Watchdogs. Both are on disk and just freeze in the startup screen for a while before crashing and telling me that the game took too long to load.

    No they won't or shops won't stock their disk copies as most would purchase digital leaving them bankrupt
