Xbox one won’t launch any games

The error you are receiving may mean that the service that offers the game or app may be unavailable, or there may be an Xbox Live service outage.

The last thing that you will be able to do is a soft factory reset of the console. You will need to follow the steps below.

1. Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.

2. Wait 30 seconds, and then plug the power cord back in.

3. Press and hold the BIND button (located below the Xbox button on the console) and the EJECT button (located on the front of the console), and then press the Xbox button on the console.

4. Continue holding the BIND and EJECT buttons for 10-15 seconds.

5. Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. 6. You can release the BIND and EJECT buttons after the second power-up tone.

7. The console should power up and take you directly to the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter.

8. Select the Reset this Xbox option.

9. Select to keep save games.

10. Run it.

Hi go to profile settings and set your account to home xbox if you haven't done so also try hard restarting your xbox one

To do this hold the power button on the xbox for 10 seconds till it shuts down remove the wire wait another 10 secs and turn it back on and try again.

If that doesn't fix it try resetting your mac address go to

Settings>Network>Advanced>AlternateMAC>Clear restart your xbox and try again

The Xbox status I use is from the setting menu, not the game menu.

Even before I start to launch any game, the Xbox won’t recognize the TV as 4K 120 capable. And that is weird.

This has happened to me as well sometimes when I have downloaded games off gamepass.

Thank you for the reply… Unfortunately these are not downloaded games they are all store-bought disk games

Has it always done this or just since the latest update?
