Xbox one won't install game

    I got a brand new game and it won't install. Says disc is dirty try again. I got another game and it's new as well and it installed no problem any ideas?

    Xbox one won't install game

    Bring it back to the store and get a new disk.

    Have you tried holding the power button for 10 seconds until the console shuts off? If not, give it a try and see if that helps.

    My game isn’t downloading and I tried all of the trouble shooting methods I found online.

    Xbox one console sucks. Won't install games from discs. Installation stops half-way through the process.

    Thanks for posting on the Xbox forums. We need a little more information to make sure we provide the correct solution. Is there an error message or error code that appears when you test the network and multiplayer connections in

    the network settings    ? What is your download speed when you select detailed network statistics in the network settings? Be sure to let us know the results

    Thank you for replying and sorry about not giving enough info but I did check everything like you asked and this is what I got:

    Download speed: 84.47 Mbps

    No errors on network or multiplayer test

    If you need more please let me know ok.

    Discs still reading after install? Downloads in the background when off? (not in standby)

    The disc still is reading when you're playing the game, even if it's installed on your system (requirement on Xbox One). When you start downloading/installing a game, it won't download when the console is off. This was the SAME on the Xbox 360; you had to
    have your Xbox on to download any games. Don't worry about the wear and tear, it running like that won't hurt the Xbox, they are made for that.

    Is the game already installed on your Xbox One? If so then, it won't appear as a download.

    Also make sure you are searching for the game with the account that you purchased it on.
