xbox one won't go offline

Discus and support xbox one won't go offline in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; as the title says, my xbox one wont go into offline mode no matter what i try i have tried restarting the console, restarting the router, unplugging...     xbox one won't go offline


    as the title says, my xbox one wont go into offline mode no matter what i try

    i have tried restarting the console, restarting the router, unplugging and plugging the ethernet cable, disconnecting and reconnecting to wifi, completly shutting down the console, unplugging the power cable but no matter what i go into settings click on go offline and nothing happens and i dont know if this is due to a server problem or due a problem on the console itself

    microsoft be useful for once and actually help

    Your reputation won't change if you play entirely offline.

    There is no one to rate you so it won't go down and the rating system is for online behaviour so it won't go back up while offline otherwise people would exploit it and just play offline until they got good status back before going back online.

    To use your Xbox One without being prompted to connect to Xbox Live, set it to offline. While offline, your Xbox won't connect to any networks.

    Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    Select System > Settings.

    Choose Network.

    Select Network settings > Go offline.

    Go offline and try it. Everything works offline if you have disks. Haven't tried downloaded games yet, but they may work as well.

    There is a difference in the Xbox 360 where it won't give error codes for offline stuff.

    Sorry about the inconvenience. Currently we don't have a feature that blocks others from downloading their profile to the Xbox. One thing I do know that could possibly help in this case would be the following:

    You could set your Xbox One Offline. While offline, your Xbox won't connect to any networks. Which is required to download any profile on the Xbox. I'm assuming that if you don't want someone using your device, you probably
    won't give them the wi-fi password neither. So they wouldn't really have a way to connect the Xbox online to download their profile.

    Once your home you're able to put it back on Online mode very fast and easy. For this check out our article

    "Using Xbox One Offline".

    Set your Xbox to Offline:

    1. Select System > Settings.
    2. Choose Network.
    3. Select Network settings > Go offline.
    To go back online, repeat the first three steps, and in step 4 choose
    Go online    .
