    New x box one and I played a game and went to eject it to try a different one and it only came out part way and it won't eject anymore! Indont wanna push on it or pull it

    Xbox on not accepting discs

    Hey guys,

    I just wondered if any of you have come across this issue. I'm not talking about the disc read error that some have had, but a situation where the system is refusing to accept the disc into the tray. I've had this twice now, once when I ejected a game in standby (game ejected ok) and once again when it appears as though a differing game was updating. Both were sorted out with a hard reset, but a little concerning. Any ideas on this would be useful, especially as I am within warrenty with all my games on a large external drive, so could always look at a swap.

    Thoughts appreciated.

    Xbox on not accepting discs

    My issue was that it wouldn't play at all. I would insert my disc and nothing would happen. I would have to eject and reinsert for like 30 minutes before it would work. I sent it in and has worked since.

    Same thing happened to me this evening. Ejected BF4 and now it wont accept a disc.

    Ok, so after doing a bit of research I found that unlugging the power from the BACK of the xbox one letting sit for a minute or two then plugging it back in made my drive accept disc again. I am curious if ejecting a disc in the middle of a game didn't cause
    a problem on my end.

    I have other accounts on my Xbox (friends and family) and I know a few of them have purchased the game digitally. I think your right by there not being any disc in the Xbox because it accepts others. I haven't checked all the other cases it shouldn't be
    in, but I will be doing so soon. Thank you all for your responses and your time. Hopefully this helps someone out in the future. Keep up the good work! -Aleph.

    Hey there Aleph,

    Thank you for reaching out to us on the Forums. You should be able to manually eject the disc if it is in the consoles disc bay. Go ahead and follow the steps on the following support article to eject the disc.

    Manually eject a disc from Xbox One

    If no disc comes out then it is either not being done correctly or there is no disc in the console.

    Give it a try and let us know if this has helped.
