Xbox One won't display through HDMI

I recently hooked my Xbox One up to a different TV because my old one went out. I have my cable box going to HDMI1 on the TV, and tried to hook the Xbox up to HDMI2. It didn't work. I then swapped the cable box and the Xbox, so that the cable box is now
HDMI2 and the Xbox HDMI1. The cable box worked, but once again the Xbox did not. I swapped HDMI cables, and the cable box still worked and the Xbox did not. Follow along okay? Most of you are probably thinking that the Xbox is to blame, right? Here's the rub.
The Xbox plays fine on a different TV over at my mother's house. My son had it there when he spent the weekend and it worked fine. When we brought it home and plugged it in to the different TV, it wouldn't display anything. Are there some TVs that, even though
they have HDMI connections, they won't support the signal from the Xbox One? I'm thinking age, here, because the TV that the Xbox is plugged into is a ten year old plasma. I know, not ideal, but it was free and it's better than nothing! I did try the reduced
resolution hard reboot, but that didn't do anything. I'm open to any suggestions if you have them. Thanks in advance!

Xbox Slim not working with HDMI.

I've got an Xbox Slim (250GB) and I normally have it connected up through HDMI.

Now, I also connect my laptop and my PS3 to my T.V. through the same HDMI cable.

However, my 360 won't display anything through HDMI. The console runs like normal, without any display or sound. Although it does work through the standard component cable.

Any ideas?

HDMI HDTV issue

Tried resetting display settings, didn't work. Tested on other HDTV (direct connection with HDMI, different cable), worked fine. Retested on my HDTV, through receiver with different cable, not fine. Retested with same cable, direct connection, worked.

Issue, won't display properly on HDTV when passed through receiver, even though it had as of about midnight CST, while other HDMI devices connected to receiver have no problems. This is an issue because my HDTV only has one HDMI port.

Have you tried resetting your the display settings on your Xbox One? To reset your display, power off your Xbox One fully, then hold down the power button and the eject button until your hear two beeps. Once the second beep is heard you can let go of the buttons
and the display should be reset. Let us know if that helps

 

Hi, and thanks for the reply. Yes, I did try this. That was what I meant by the "reduced resolution hard reboot". It didn't do anything, and the screen still showed "No Input".
