Xbox One won't detect my 5 Ghz connection

    Xbox One won't detect my 5 Ghz connection


    I had been playing fine for the past few weeks with my 5ghz connection. Yesterday I was playing normally and I got disconnected, and now it won't detect my 5ghz connection. All my other devices detect it. My xbox does detect other networks (from neighbors
    and my brother's one). Any way to fix this? I already did a factory settings reset.

    Can't find our Wi-Fi

    Make sure the network you are trying to get connected is not a 5 GHz. Xbox 360 will can not detect a 5 GHz network without an external adapter. Let me know if this is the case.

    xbox only puts out and recieves the 2.4 ghz signal. won't recognize the 5 ghz one unless youre using an external adaptor

    Hey there RatoncitoKid.

    Since this began, have you tried resetting your network hardware as well? If not, unplug your network for a full minute and reconnect it to see if there's any change. Let us know Xbox One won't detect my 5 Ghz connection :)

    I already reset my Xbox an router.

    I bought a new Xbox Series S but it only detect and connect to 2.4 ghz wifi , but not able to detect and connect to 5ghz wifi . Is there any solution or i have to replace the unit

    I have already checked everything you mentioned . My pc & mobile can detect and connection easily . Only the xbox is unable to find 5 ghz wifi.

    Network problems

    Slim internal runs on 2.4 ghz frequency. If your router is on 5 ghz, the slim may not be detecting it.
