Xbox one won't connect to xfinity WiFi.

Discus and support Xbox one won't connect to xfinity WiFi. in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; i either get can't connect with static IP address or it says can't get IP address sometimes. ??     Xbox one won't connect to xfinity WiFi.


    i either get can't connect with static IP address or it says can't get IP address sometimes. ?? I'm on a hotspot which usually works for a long time. Since my xbox updated it won't work. Some one please help me !!. I've tried restring xbox tried retyping
    IP. It won't even let me exit out the information. I even took it to my moms and tried there and still wouldn't work. Connects to Amy other router. But right now I pay for xfinity still so i have to use the hotspot for now and it will not connect I have no
    idea what to do now I've never saw anything like this happen before.

    Can't connect to your wireless network

    Everytime i sign into my xbox one s it usually connects to the Xfinity wifi as soon as i sign in... but now it doesn't let me connect to the wifi at all and my phone's connected to the wifi as well

    so I tried to connect to my online account it wouldn't let me told me to unplug my modem for 30 seconds and replug it with 30 more seconds and then try again I did that still the same issue I can connect or Miss telling me that my Mac address could be getting
    filtered by my router or modem I'm trying to figure out how can I fix this issue I really would like to play online that's only reason I have an Xbox One is to be able to play online and connect with friends

    Can’t connect to Xbox live via Xfinity wifi

    Connecting to Xfinity WiFi requires that you go to the browser and log in using your xfinity credentials, kinda like when you use a hotel's wifi or airport's.

    Even though it's not resolving the DHCP, go to Edge and see if it connects to the landing page.

    Once you sign in you should be good to go.

    Hi Dericka, thank you for the help. I tried resetting my Xfinity router and get the same black screen with sounds from the XBox. I do have Xfinity WiFi router with an Xfinity pod to extend coverage and the laptop connects to the pod when I'm upstairs in our bedroom. I suspect it isn't working because it's connected to the pod, but there is no way to control if it connects to the pod or main gateway unless I unplug the pod and that creates other problems for things connected to WiFi. Any other ideas?
