Xbox One won't connect to Wifi

I've tried cycling my modem/router and hard reset to no avail. I'm stuck after entering my wifi password with the error 'Can't connect. Check your network name and password and try again.'

Has this ever worked? Is this a new configuration? If no a new configuration has something recently changed on your network configuration (new router, etc...)?

 

Yea, this worked. same modem and router. I took it away one weekend and haven't been able to connect it since. All other devices in the house connect to my network

 

Is the console actually seeing the wireless network or are you attempting to set it up manually? Please provide as many details as possible.

 

It detects the network. When I advance to the next screen to enter my password is where it fails with the error above. My setup is verizon modem connected to an ASUS rt-n56u router. I cycled my modem and my router a couple of times. I logged out of my
wireless devices and re-entered my password to make sure I just didn't forget it, but the one I was entering on the Xbox one was correct. My verizon modem is actually a router as well, but the signal is weaker than the rt-n56u. I suppose i could try connecting
to that, but that's not optimum.

 

Is he Verizon device setup in bridge mode? Apparently, for some reason the one is not able to validate your password. Are you sure the xbox is not trying to attach to the Verizon network instead of the Asus network?
