Xbox One won't connect to TV

    Xbox One won't connect to TV


    I turned on my Xbox and on my TV i just see the no signal alert.

    The Xbox is on.

    I've checked that the HDMI is functioning (which it is).

    the only other thing to report is that the controller also doesn't seem to connect, just flashes for a bit then turns off.

    If anyone knows any cause or how i can solve this issue that'd be great.

    Does other stuff work on that HDMI port on your TV? Also, be sure you got the cable in the HDMI out port on the Xbox as there is a port for input that wouldn't work for connecting to the TV

    - Do you have any external devices plugged into your console?
    - Have you noticed if your console will turn itself off after some time of being on and not displaying on your TV?
