Xbox one wont connect to servers on any call of duty games

Hi, currently having issues with my xbox one and have had for the last 3 days. It just wont connect to any call of duty servers even though activision states there are no problems. It conatantly lags also even though other people in the household can log
on and play COD anytimw they like. Ive tried restarting my modem, making sure NAT type is fine, checking connections which all say are fine. I just cant for the life of me get it to work. I can be playing side by side with my son and his works great and mine
just wont connect or lags and loses connection. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks !

Verify that your profile has xbox live gold to be able to play online if your profile does not have it, buy an exchange code and you are supposed to be able to play freely. if in this case it still doesn't work, delete the game and try to install it again.
if despite all this does not work veryfique that everything in your profile is in order

call of duty DOES use servers, just not dedicated servers. why do you think it says "the call of duty servers are unavailable at this time. please try later" error message. the gamer connects to xbox live, then to a secondary connection namely the call of
duty servers, then its peer 2 peer.

you wont see any difference - people just think they do as its what they are told by the internet. Generally a server connection is more stable, but its not always the case.

Peer 2 Peer connection is where you connect to another player who 'hosts' the lobby. (see: Call of Duty)

Dedicated server is everyone is peered to that server, so in connection terms, you are still at the mercy of distance, traffic etc

None of our Call of Duty games connect to xbox live. We are able to sign in on the xbox and load the game and play on local play which is glitchy. We get an error message that says the Call of Duty server unavailable. And to check the Call of Duty website.
