Xbox one won't connect to live

When I go to "Test Network Connection" I get the "It's all good" answer but it still won't connect me to live. And under the current network status it says service info is unavailable. Wtf is going on?

Had the same problem after restarting 20-30 times I am now downloading a massive 2gb system update, guessing there was a bit of trouble their end.

 

Have the same problems here. Is the system update available to all users or only for the preview users?

I am also having this problem. Got my console last week and this is very frustrating. Is this a known issue? Surely it can't be a hardware problem as my console in on the internet and downloading games in the background?

Sorry to hear about the connection issues, I can definitely understand how frustrating that could be. I recommend trying a few troubleshooting steps to see if we can get this issue sorted:

Please give the following steps a try:

• First, check out our Service Status page to see if there are any service alerts that pertain to the connection issue.
  
• If there are no service alerts, press and hold the power button on your Xbox One console for 10 seconds.
  
• Once your console is powered off, unplug the power cord.
• Unplug the power cable from your router, modem or gateway.
• Wait 5 minutes and then plug in your console, router, modem or gateway.
• Power on your console and check to see if the issue continues.

Give the suggested steps a try and let us know how it goes!

 

none of your suggestions helped at all for me, i don't know why you marked this solved since nobody has said it worked.

 

Unplugging and restarting my Xbox numerous times worked for me, that's why I said the answer was helpful, but maybe you're going through something different I guess.

 

This question isnt answered ive had this problem for 3days now it seems to me xbox,micosoft have no idea on how to fix the issue ive tried everything to no avail yet your quite happy to continue charging people for something that doesnt work properly....sort

hahaa. you can leave your x box onester on, while you reset your modem. from there you can test your network connection again, reply is always: your network is bla bla, but our network has bla bla. still all the games work. pretty frustrating but works.
many years of being a xbox fan, well, xbox one made order the ps4 instead... thanks microsoft!
