    Xbox one won’t connect to iPhone hotspot


    I found alot of people having the same issue but there were no real amswers how to solve the issue. On your xbox first, go to settings - general - network settings - advanced settings - alternate mac address

    On your iphone to find your mac adress go to settings - general - about iphone and it will be listed under “wi-fi address”. Type this number in without the “:” symbols (ex. 354565456B6B instead of 35:45:56...blah blah blah.) your xbox will reatart most likeley (it did for me) and make sure you keep your iphone on the hotspot screen through the whole restart, im not sure if it matters but thats what i did...after it turns back on connect to your hotspot like you normally would. Hope this works for you as well because i had to figure it out one my own and it was a pain Xbox one won’t connect to iPhone hotspot :)

    This worked for me.
    After trying everything suggested online without any fixes, I looked at my smartphone hotspot set up. In the Allowed Devices, it only showed my laptop as allowed, no xbox1 mentioned. So I clicked + and added the console wireless mac address, which I found in Network---Advanced Settings.
    Worked for me anyway. Tis a pain so good luck trying that yourself.

    Try a full restart of your iPhone as well, holding down both the power button and volume down for about 10 seconds until you see the Apple logo.
