Xbox One wont assign controller or sign anyone in

been playing overwatch thos morning perfectly fine. Turn it off and went to olay som ark on the oc. Come back on to watch some youtube and the console switches on alright. Doesnt automatically sign me in anymore. The controller is no lonher assigned to my
account and of all three accounts in the xbox none of them will sign in. The black bar comes up and the rings move but it flicks back into the sign in tab without a single nudge of anyone signing in.

I power cycled the xbox and it is still doing it. With added Bye! Sign in using a cotroller. Pop up at the bottom of the screen.....well I am sorry xbox how the **** do you think I switched yky on?!?! (USING AN ELITE CONTROLLER)

Anyone know whats up with it?

Controller Help

My xbox recently stopped recognizing all of my controllers. The xbox will turn on when i power on the controller but it wont assign the controller to first player. Has this happened to anyone else? What can I do?

make sure you assign the controller to the profile if you cannot hear anyone. here are the instructions for doing that.

Maybe your profile or one of your controllers are assigned to instant sign in on both consoles. If you use multiple controllers, you can tell which user is assigned to a specific controller when they
can control what's happening on the screen.

Also, is the profile on the same console as the others?

this issue happened to me as well, solution i found is that after the disconnection happened sometimes your gamertag isnt assigned to the controller anymore, if this happens you wont be able to chat, so what you need to do is assign it back to the controller
and the chat will work again.

to check this you have to go to settings then devices&accessories then check the wireless xbox one controller symbol it should have your gamertag avatar in it and telling you that its assigned if its not you get into the settings for that and click on 'assign
controller'.
