    Xbox One WLAN wrong password


    I hope someone finaly can help me with this im annoyed and pretty angry about this. My Xbox One was shut down instantly yesterday because we had a blackout at home. After that i turned my Xbox back on and my Wifi was gone i cant connect to it no matter what
    i do. It simply says my password is wrong if i try to connect but it isnt wrong. I got to get in yesterday shortly then today i turned it on again and i again have no Wifi anymore cant connect and such. Please help!

    Access you router and from the submenu, choose Wireless. Select a unique name (single word) for your wireless network (SSID). This will be the name to identify your specific WLAN whenever a device tries to connect wireless.

    For Wireless Network Mode: Select G-Only.

    For security method: Select WPA2-PSK with AES encryption and select a unique passphrase/password for your selected WLAN, so whenever a "new" device tries to connect, a password is required to authenticate itself to your WLAN.

    Hi EuleHaken99,

    Sorry you're having issues connecting to your WiFi with your Xbox. When you go to the wireless settings, do you see any wifi broadcasting? If so do you see yours there? Do other devices (cell phones, computers, ect) connect to the wifi with no issues? Also,
    please try to do the following to see if you can connect to the WiFi at your home.

    1. Verify that other devices can connect no issues.

    2. Hard reset the console - With the Xbox on, hold the power button down for 5 seconds (the Xbox will quickly turn off). Then turn the console back on.

    3. Go to your network settings - From the home screen press menu, then settings, then Network.

    4. Select Setup Wireless Network

    5. Follow the steps and see if you can connect.

    Let us know if this gets you resolved.

    I indeed do get a connection with my pc and phone and evreything else a connection. ONly the Xbox doesnt want to. I already tried the hard reset a couple times this doesnt work at all. It worked once yesterday but then again kicked me off in the morning

    Have you try an another WLAN Channel on your Router. It helped me on my XBOX One X if there a WLAN Problems

    You can Change your WLAN Channel on your Router (after you Restart it and wait 30 seconds) The XBOX One doesnt like all WLAN Channels
