Xbox One Without Kinect

Can the Xbox One that was bought with a Kinect, bought it in February of 2014, work without the Kinect? Thanks.

Difference between Xbox One and Xbox One without Kinect

Looks like I will need to make the switch over. I know on 11/2/2014 the Xbox One without Kinect will be available are there any differences between the Xbox One with Kinect and Xbox One without kinect.

I just tried signing on Xbox without the Kinect. You're wrong. It doesn't work and you do need it for the Xbox to work.

You don't need kinect for the xbox one to work.

 

The xbox one with kinect is exactly the same as the console sold without kinect so obviously it will work.

 

You can sign in with your controller by highlighting your profile on the sign in screen, top left of dashboard screen.

 

You're wrong. You need to have a model of Xbox one that doesn't include the Kinect for the Xbox One to work without it. I've already had this question answered somewhere else by someone who actually knew what they were talking about. Thanks anyway...

 

No and whoever told you that are wrong all xbox ones will work with or without kinect plugged in.

 

I have a day one edition that works perfect without kinect so trust me I know.

 

So yes I do know what I am talking about, have a good day.

 

All xbox ones are the same with or without the kinect the consoles are no different.

 

Oh one more thing you will need to change your settings to disable the auto kinect sign in though, or obviously it won't sign you in, I hope this helps and good luck.
