Xbox One with Samsung tv - not displaying??

Hi, I have my Xbox One connected to my Samsung HU557500 tv via HDMI socket

When I fire up Xbox one, the tv is giving me "no cable connected" message. I have done the display reset of hoding power and eject button and this does fix the problem however by a few days it gives me the "no cable connected" message again and I have to
    do reset again.

Its really frustrating. Is there a fix for this?

    Thanks

    :)

XBOX One and Samsung Smart TV

The wired or wireless connection is handled through your router, not the Samsung Smart TV. Samsung Smart TV has nothing to do with Xbox One. Connect the Xbox One directly to your wireless or wired router, not your Samsung Smart TV.

  3. No Signal with Samsung TVs

I’ve always been able to switch the console between my Samsung KU6300 and a smaller, older 720p Samsung TV, both using HDMI for connection.

However, starting a few weeks ago with the Xbox One S, i started receiving a “no signal” when connecting to the older Samsung TV. But it worked fine with the newer 4K Samsung TV. Then I got the Xbox One X and the same thing still occurred; only worked on
    the newer Samsung TV.

Today, however, I was trying to troubleshoot the Xbox One X to the older tv again. And after several failed attempts, I switched back to the newer Samsung TV, and started receiving the same “no signal” issue.

One weird caveat to this is my PC connects to the older Samsung via HDMI just fine.

Before you ask, it is not a bad HDMI cord.

I’m in the preview program, so whatever the latest update is there is the software I’m using.

Any tips or troubleshooting techniques is greatly appreciated.

No option to automatically turn on/off TV?

I told the Xbox my Changhong was a Toshiba, it actually no works better than my old Samsung. Samsung would do Volume up/down/Mute and On/Off. My Changhong will do that plus TV menu/Display the settings.. Works great on the Xbox One and Xbox 360 for a $399
    50" TV.....

XBOX One Home screen cut off on the bottom/right side on Toshiba 62HMX84

Thank goodness I'm not the only one experiencing this too. I'm running the xbox one to a 50" Samsung DLP 720p TV and can only see the left and right blue borders of the minimum viewing area on the xbox display settings menu. Spent an hour with both Samsung
and Microsoft support with no solution. The TV doesn't supportan option to change the resolution settings and it's already set to 16:9. The Microsoft guy told me to return the xbox for a new one. When playing dead rising, the top and bottom messages are completely
unreadable. My PS3 had no issue with this TV and displayed the full image. Please push down an update to fix this ASAP!
