    I'm just wondering, Will Xbox One ever offer Classic Xbox game titles? example: To be able to buy crash bandicoot/simpsons hit and run etc from the store on the console? I've been trying to do some research but can't seem to find anything unfortunately

    Extremely upset with Microsoft Over the Lack of backwards Compatibility on the Xbox One

    Why stop with the 360? Why can't my Xbox One play Original Xbox games? lol

    I wouldn't think so at all. Those games whilst great classics just wouldn't produce that much income and for all the publishing rights/licence costs it really isn't worth it

    Surely we should be hoping for a Xbox Handheld with the power of the 360, making that would bring in huge revenues and would bring a lot of developers to Microsoft as the power/development would be the same as the 360.

    The advances would make the Xbox Handheld | 360 and One closer to each other.

    Xbox One features.

    • Select digital games for Xbox 360 and the original Xbox work on Xbox One. The ones you own will appear in the Ready to Install section of your games & apps. Select the game to install it.
    • For disc-based games, insert the disc. If it's on the list, the game will download. You'll need to keep the disc in the drive to play.
    • Games for the original Xbox also work on Xbox One, but compatibility is one way: you can't play Xbox One games on Xbox 360 or the original Xbox.

    An Xbox 360 game will always be an Xbox 360 game whether it is played on the Xbox 360 or an Xbox One through backward compatibility, same with original Xbox games. They were developed to play on one console. It's only through the magic of back compat they
    play on the One. They are still Xbox 360 and original Xbox games to me.

    All Original Xbox games have been discontinued for Xbox Live connectivity. The original Xbox and backwards compatibility original Xbox games on Xbox 360 and Xbox one can not go online anymore. It's been like this for many years.

    Sorry but this is impossible and it no original Xbox games will ever go back online again since that service has been discontinued.

    Do you have an official Xbox HDD installed? You need this in order to play the original Xbox games that are supported. You can read all about playing Original Xbox games and which ones are supported here:
