Xbox One with Kinect vs without

I could not imagine my Xbox without Kinect. As I have embraced the 8th Generation Xbox One experience since E3 2013. It is beneficial in many ways, from the record that, to upload studio with video commentary to Skype (which I use often as most of my family
live out of state, and using a lap top or phone is not as nice. As well as snapping straight to your wanted app is immediate instead of having to navigate. Also, if your controller dies you can tell your party members to cover you via Kinect.

I am sure now that there are two different versions of the Xbox One, that Xbox will do everything they can to make the experience easier without the Kinect, as they already have been updating to help the Kinect-less.

Awesome shoes compliment the motorcycle one rides on? With that said, you're one of the few forum regs who can seriously crack me up with your comments sometimes. (which is a good thing) +1 for any slap in the face reference

I have a day one console and would definitely, if given a choice, purchase one without Kinect today.

I'd just buy a Kinect included Xbox One second hand. After all it isn't as if you have to worry about console mods at the moment, and you don't need to use Kinect.

Why not have the option though. Use it if you want to.

Xbox+Kinect=Xbox's vision.

What is soo hard for people to grasp. Go spend billions on your own console and controller. Then you can put your little mic boom in the controller.

Their vision was, and always will be, to make money. It's what drives every company. If M.S. believes letting people use their headset for voice controls will sell more consoles...

I believe the Kinect is a great piece of tech and enhances the system; I'm glad it came with mine. I really don't care if M.S. enables voice control with headset...choice is a good thing.

I wouldn't get a X1 without the Kinect, for me it works 95% of the time and the IR blaster. But if you only plan on gaming with the Xbox, there isn't very much game support for it yet.

It's not the mic that does voice recognition. It's the computer chip inside that is running a program to process what you say and turn it into text, commands, ect ect.

Just a microphone. Lmao go to a tech school before you try and act like you could make voice controlled systems with just a Mic Boom. Lol
