This is kind of 2 questions that can be answered in one. I have a 360 plugged into my hdmi TV and the av cables that came with it are plugged into my turtle beach x32 and external speakers. I did this by splitting the box on the Xbox end of the av cord to
plug both av and hdmi in. Now this setup is pretty basic and works wonderfully as It is. Now my question, how can I do this with Xbox One of it has no av cables to start? And without completely changing the hdmi to av? Would buying component cables that plug
from the hdmi to component and an analog/digital converter?

    :)

    Turtle Beach X12 Question

I just checked and there is no option to change to External. I can switch my TV speakers off, which I tried, but still no headphone sound.

Splitting sound between Pandora and game/chat

So my fiancé and I like the Xbox One for different reasons. I am either making a suggestion or asking if there is a way to make it so I can play my game with sound & chat go to the headphone while the snapped app (Pandora) uses the TV external speakers
WITHOUT mixing the sound together. Thanks in advance... SO MUCH!!!

Hmm. This is a little bit tricky I think. First the bad news. The x32 is not compatible with the Xbox One. So you will not be able to connect it wirelessly.

I also would not recommend using a hdmi to component adapter as you will of course have a loss in quality of the video signal. You better use the original hdmi connection for best results.

If you have active speakers now connected to the 360 I would check if it's possible to have them plugged into your TV directly if it has proper outputs. If you are using speakers connected to an amplifier then you should use the optical audio out of the
One to connect the One with the amplifier or just use an adapter there.

  5. This may or may not be related but I just purchased an Xbox One and connected it via HDMI to the same television that I also use as my computer monitor (also connected via HDMI). The external speakers that are connected via coaxial S/PDIF to the television
will play the audio from my computer but not from the Xbox One. Currently I'm having to switch the audio on my television to the built-in speakers instead of the external whenever I'm on the Xbox One source.

Xbox Series S and AOC Monitor

    Hi,

Most gaming monitors have no speakers. To get external sound you'll need buy a set of speakers that can be plugged into the headphone socket on the monitor.
