Xbox One with controller charge options

I think it would be really great if you could add a setting to the Xbox one, not to turn on when I plug my controllers in to charge using the rear USB ports. I try to do it before powering down, but it is so annoying to plug them in, only to have the Xbox
power back on and to be powered down manually again. Please add a setting in Xbox to turn off power up or wake up on controller connection.

    Thanks

    :)

    New Xbox One X contoller

The controller that came with my Xbox One X will not charge on my Onkyo charger. Apparently the dimensions are not the same as the original Xbox One controller. What controller does it compare to in dimensions?

    Controller becoming unresponsive

Same here, the same problem even with full charge. I tried with stylus batteries and also with the play&charge kit, using the Xbox One X black controller included with the console and also an Xbox One S controller (the white one with Bluetooth and audio
    jack).

In regards to charging Xbox One controllers: You can connect charge cable to controllers, while console is turned off, as USB ports will still become active to charge Xbox One Accessories etc.

    Using wireless controller for PC

Wired controller would be the best/easiest option. The wireless and the charge and play kit will only charge through the pc, but there are adapters available like the ones seen here

Xbox 360 wired controller not working in windows 10?

If you are using the charging cable to connect the controller to the PC to play games, then that is not possible. The cable will only charge the rechargeable battery, it will not let you connect and play games. You need the Xbox 360 wireless controller
adapter to be able to connect the controller to your PC. Microsoft no longer manufacture them, so your only option is to purchase a used one or a 3rd party one.

Play and Charge Kit (USB Type C version) - Impossible to know when fully charged on PC

well that is the only option, microsoft will most likely never incorporate a battery level monitor to gamebar when the controller is charging becuase when you plug int he controller it bypasses the battery and is then just a wired controller, i use a third party charging cable, not sure if the original one has the led on the end that goes white when fully charge like the older micro usb one did.

Unable to connect controller to pc

As far as I'm aware, the play and charge controller is only for charging. Unlike the Xbox one controller, it does not turn teh wireless controller into a wired one. When you use the Play and Charge cable, your controller is still talking to the Xbox 360
    wirelessly.

The wireless receiver is your best bet. That or, an actual wired controller.

    Hope this helps.
