Xbox One with AT&T internet

Desperately searching for answers so any help is much appreciated.

Since November when I purchased my Xbox One I've been noticing a huge drop in speeds through my internet provider (AT&T). Ive always had 6Mbps which never caused me a problem on the Xbox 360 but suddenly I started getting 1-2Mbps on the Xbox One. After
calling and chatting with AT&T over and over they finally sent out two people to look at my our system. Of course my step father, who manages the contracts with our providers, upgraded to 12Mbps since it was a "special" at the time;plus they brought in the
new router. It was great for about 4 days then it dropped off again.

So now we are at a point where it gradually drops in speed then comes back about 3 days later. Its never certain days like weekends or something like that its just random. They want us to upgrade to 45Mbps but what the point if they ant even provide us
with 12.

Is this a Xbox one inferring with AT&T problem or is it just At&T? Currently getting 0.8Mbps….no lie.

I keep getting disconnected from Xbox live!

Ok, so I have AT&T and Time Warner Internet. When I forget to pay my AT&T Internet. I switch over to Time Warner and when I use this one I get disconnected constantly. I'll be playing for 10 - 15 minutes and then I'll get disconnected. I have to turn my
Xbox off and turn it back on in order to connect back. I've searched everywhere and no one seems to know what the problem is. Can somebody please help me. It's really annoying. - The reason I new help is so I can stop paying AT&T and only keep my Time Warner
Internet.

Does AT&T support IPv6?

I have an XBOX ONE (Not S or X.) and have AT&T wireless internet (WiFi.) I'm having issues with my NAT Type being strict. My IP settings is IPv4 and I have no idea how to switch it to IPv6. Do I need a new internet provider or can I switch it with AT&T?

I've tried looking to find out how to do the switch on my router but they sent me to XBOX Forums and I have not found any information on switching AT&T from IPv4 to IPv6. If anyone knows how to do this that would be a lot of help.

Is your Xbox connected to your network wired or wirelessly?

Is At&t also your tv service provider?

How many other devices and services such as Netflix are used on your network?

I believe its AT&T compatibility with the Xbox One but honestly im not sure. AT&T doesn't seem to want to answer it.

As far as the Netflix issue goes.... I'm on the 45meg service and have the same problem. This is an issue between Netflix and att. Att wants money from Netflix to allow for better access to their pipeline.

Also since you have the tv service, you will lose some bandwidth based on how much of the tv service is being used.

What are you using for the speedtest. All cable boxes should also be off and no devices on the network should be downloading anything when doing the speed test

There are many things that can affect your download speed. It could be hard to track down.

No, this won´t work.

The Xbox One doesn´t support external HDD´s yet. You have to join Xbox Live with your gamertag, after that you can download your gamertag on the Xbox One. Can´t you connect your Xbox 360 with a wire to your router? If not you can use a Xbox 360 of a friend
with an internet connection.

it seems the latest xbox one update resetting some xbox one consoles I haven t this problem yet but I will keep close eye on my xbox one . the only reason why I haven t this problem because my xbox one is on energy saving mode, have you tried
clear local saves games then synce your game to the internet to get your game saves back.

First I just have one game and my fiance and I share that game.

I won´t tell you where exactly I go that could offend people.

But the internet connection there is not awesome like in the US.

I tried it before and eded up yelling at the TV all the time.

It is useless to try to play it since I am used to fast internet.

People who live there don´t know better, they think their internet is good.

I don´t even know if I will have a Xbox there.

I don´t know if I can get a new Xbox and new game that soon.

Maybe I will but when I do then I will just be playing campaign and maybe spartan ops.

Sometimes spartan ops works ok there.

I can´t play a game where I am 3 to 5 seconds slower then the other people.

It is very hard to concentrate on that.

It is possible yes and when you have this internet all the time you won´t notice it.

I sadly do notice it.

A brand new internet connection there is worse then a 20 years old broken internet cable in the US.

I tried this till I changed my internet service and got all the new stuff.

Now imagine how horrible it will be for me after upgrading…I will just sit desperate in front of my Xbox….

I also don´t like my internet moderated, that slows it down even more.

It will be moderated there, no one seems to care on that continent they all just agree with everything.

This is why I will miss Halo 4

It is such a awesome game and I will not be able to enjoy it

I will not be able to enjoy Xbox LIVE like I do here.

I will not have that awesome Xbox Support form the US. They are always nice to me here.

Yeah today I am the winer but I had to say that to Halo and Xbox...

I think I explained everything and will not post again about this.

I don´t wanna bother anyone with this.

My xbox one is having a similar issue I called my internet provider and they said the Microsoft is currently blocking their ip address and that the issue is being worked on. My provider is AT&T.
