    Xbox One Witcher 3 Cloud Saves Overwritten


    Hi

    I was playing Witcher 3 on Xbox One (06/06/2020) and it looks like my Wifi internet suffered an outage. Whilst I carried on playing "offline" and saving my progress to a single slot (out of 8 possible save game slots); at some point the console re-synched
    to the cloud. Now when I play Witcher 3, all I can see is multiple saves of my play offline - I seem to have lost my 7 other save games, representing some 300+ hours of progress including the only save game point from the original story that I use to start
    a New Game +.

    I've tried hard resetting the console and have deleted local saved games on the console, however the cloud sync now only restores the saves from my offline play. It seems after reconnecting to the internet the local games has overwritten all the previous
    cloud games stored.

    Why does this happen and can I get my cloud file reset to 06/05/2020 please?

    So my question was - is it possible to restore my cloud saved games from yesterday, June 5?

    It's just really shocking the circumstances has resulted in losing my data. Appreciate it's all unintended but to be not able to restore back to the previous day. Any help would be much appreciated.

    If the information was deleted from the cloud or the auto save feature replaced the saves which then synced to the cloud the information is then gone.

    Accidentally Deleted Progress in RDR2

    Unfortunately if you've overwritten that save with one from the cloud that means that old save is gone.

    If you mean you overwritten the save with one while you were offline, to fix that you should go to My Games and Apps > Games > Push START (3 lines button) on your game > Manage game > delete the save file from this console only (DON'T select "from everywhere")
    > connect to xbox live and launch your game and you should see "Syncing..." and you should have your save back.

    The saves are on Cloud (if the console is online), if it is overwritten and synchronized with the console, there is no way to recover an older one.

    If a cloud save has been overwritten, then there is no way to get that save back.
