    Xbox One wireless

It really depends on how far your wireless signal spans. Your Xbox One will be able to pick up any wireless signal as long as the router has a fair strength. Things that may make this worse are thick walls and other wireless items near the router.

  5. Even if it can pick it up it's still highly recommended to use a wired connection as wireless is sometimes too unstable

  7. If you decide to connect your Xbox One to your tv using an HDMI-AV converter it might just show up as a black screen since the AV setting on your TV might not support 720P .

    You can fix this by

    1. Making sure there is no disc in your Xbox
    2. Hold the power button on your Xbox One for approx 10 seconds to perform a powercycle
    3. Press and hold the Xbox button and the Eject button until you hear a beep to turn on the console.

Note This will boot your console in a low resolution mode (640 × 480). To reset these settings again, press the
Menu button, select Settings, and then select Display & sound.

Or you could use powerline adaptors.

They basically turn your powerlines into a wired Ethernet connection

I've used them a couple of years now because 2.4Ghz wifi is absolute crap.

You plug one into a power socket near the router then connect it to the router with an Ethernet cable.

You plug the other one into the wall near year xbox then connect that via Ethernet. This basically gives you a wired connection. Not necessarily as good as a real wired connecting but unless you have bad wiring in your house it is usually 1000 times better
    than the standard 2.4Ghz wifi.

You should be able to although you would be missing out of title updates(patches). A lot of games are released with bugs that need fixing nowadays.

You wont be able to back up your saves because you wont have access to the cloud. If something goes wrong with a save it will be lost forever.

I've also heard you can't unlock achievements while offline either although I can't confirm this because I never play offline.

is there a way to make the tritton warhead headset to work with chat yet?

That's the wireless headset, right? The wireless chat will not be compatible; the protocol is different between the Xbox 360 and the Xbox One. No 360 wireless accessories will work with the One.

WIreless Xbox 360 controller won't connect to Windows 10 PC

Incidentally, I checked on the page where one buys the receiver, and it says that it works for *any* wireless Xbox controller, so that shouldn't be the issue either.
Can you point us to the page so we can see which wireless adapter you bought?

Due to a change in the wireless protocol, Xbox 360 and Xbox One use a completely different "language" to talk wireless.

So unless a third party created a wireless receiver that can talk both protocols, I'm afraid the Xbox 360 controller will NOT work with a Xbox One compliant wireless adapter.

It might be, that the page says that you can use "any" Xbox One controller with the Adapter (e.g. standard wireless controllers, the Elite wireless controller, the wireless speed wheel, etc.), but you will NOT be able to use Xbox 360 accessories with a Xbox
    One wireless adapter.

Is it possible to use the "Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows 10" on an XBOX One to Connect Wireless Controllers?

You probably mean the right thing, but the Xbox One does not use Bluetooth to connect controllers wirelessly, but a Xbox specific wireless communication protocol.

Since the console has this wireless protocol built into the special wireless module already, the Xbox One doesn't support the USB wireless connector.

    Try the
suggestions in the Wireless Controller Troubleshooter here
to hopefully fix your wireless controller issues.

    wireless mouse connection.

When you say wireless receiver, do you mean the mouses own wireless receiver or the Xbox One wireless receiver? The mouse is not compatible with the Xbox One Wireless receiver, you have to use the receiver that came with your mouse.
