Xbox one wireless problem

Hi, so my xbox one original has a problem when it comes to connecting to the internet. When I goto network setting my xbox says "wireless" as the network I'm connected to. When it says this I cannot do anything, cant "go offline". When I try to find a
new network, nothing shows up, just says "add wireless network" and when I add my network, it says "security protocol of network is not compatible with xbox one" or something, but I have connected to it before. And I've tried a wired connection, same thing
can't change any settings and can't go offline, I've tried power cycle. I've even unplugged it for 3 hours and still nothing. I don't know what to do. Any help is appreciated, thank you.

Same problem here, Microsoft needs to make the Kinect for XBOX ONE wireless, or offer a wireless adapter.

Thanks for the reply. If you move the games into the external hard drive, you will definitely cut time in half. When you do a full factory reset it will need to update the console. For a faster download, try an ethernet connection.

I also tried that and a factory reset did not work, and power cycling also doesnt work.

power cycle
of the console.

If the problem persists, try doing a
soft factory reset of the console,
Reset and keep games and apps to help reset the operating system. Please note before doing this troubleshooting step, make sure to know your email and passwords for your Xbox profiles.

Try this out and let us know the results.

I've tried that, once I do try, and I push reset, it won't reset, and I can't push go offline, so that doesn't work, last night i just unplugged the xbox from power and I'm gonna try to power it up and see what happens.
