Xbox one wireless network not working.

Hi for some reason when I started my xbox one today it said that I have an internet cabel connected and I have selected wireless so I can't connect to xbox live, even though I don't have an cable in. Any tips?

Hardware Problem

My Xbox One is not connecting via wireless at the moment and this is message that is coming up, can anyone help?

Hey Lair1112 -

If you haven't yet, let's try
power cycling your Xbox One console to start with. If that doesn't work, I recommend unplugging your Xbox One from your network and then unplugging your home network to reset both. Let them sit for about 5 minutes then plug everything back in and try again.

Give those a shot and let us know if you need further troubleshooting.

Having the same issue. tried reseting the console and now when i try and connect to a network (wired or wireless) it gives me a notification saying that I have a wireless network hardware problem.

Sounds like your console might need to be serviced. We'd suggest reaching out to the Chat/Phone teams to take a closer look at your console and to see if it indeed needs to be repaired.

Hiss14 Please try this before setting up for repair. Perform a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes.
Plug the power cord back in and restart the console. Once it is back up and operational test the results.

I have had this resolve this issue many times.
